Do you Massage My Horse?

I use my hands on or near your horse to channel energy but I do not use any massage or bodily manipulation techniques.

Are there side effects?

As with humans your horse will need some time to process the shifting balance of energy within them. At first it may feel unfamiliar and this is completely normal.

You may see some twitches or movement across your horse's body whilst receiving treatment which is a physical response to sensations they may be feeling.

An emotional swing may occur if letting go of negative memories and sometimes they can be a bit more tired.

Energy balancing can have relaxing effects on the digestive system and quite often you may hear gurgling or rumblings from within - more extreme cases you may get gas and extra urination than usual.

What if My Horse Has Osteo/Massage Booked Same Day?

I always ask that our sessions and any other energy releasing therapies which can create tiredness or soreness are done separately and within a reasonable time frame of each other. We don't want to give them sensory overload and they need time to process.

My horse hasn't had any traumas can I still use you?

That's fabulous to hear and absolutely!

The revitalising and energising elements of energy channelling can be beneficial along with deep relaxation sessions.

Do I need to do anything special to prepare?

Make sure your horse is going to receive his treatment in the place he/she feels most comfortable and secure., this could be his stable or on the yard with his usual haynet and full water bucket.

Unrugged please and try to give them 20 to 30 mins just to settle before I arrive.

Do You Treat Humans?

Yes I can arrange a session for you too when I visit your horse.

This will obviously be a different price but please feel free to enquire if it is something you would like to try.

Is it Safe?

Yes!

Other than me taking the usual precautions around horses.

It is an alternative therapy that can be used safely in conjunction with other therapies and treatments

Can You Tell Me What A Suspected Issue is?

I do not diagnose ANY conditions or potential problems as I am not a vet

Is there an age limit for my horse?

Not at all - from foal to veteran all are welcome

I prefer to say I am intuitive and even though the horse 'talks' to me it is not in a conventional sense. I do not pertain to psychic ability in the ways some offer readings that will tell you details about past life, names of horses they like or even connecting with those that may have passed.

Are you psychic?

Isn't All A bit Woo-Woo?

I guess you can say it has an air of mystical quality and isn't a scientifically proven process.

Reviews have discovered that Reiki is better than placebo for inducing relaxation.

Having been used on humans we can only summarise from their feedback that it has been beneficial.

Does My Vet Need To Know?

It is not compulsory or a legal requirement but I do advise that you make your vet aware of any treatments.
